Kathy McGrath's Commissions

I would be honored to create a special work of art just for you! Having a personalized painting/drawing created specifically for you, develops a deeper connection to that piece, as it is a reflection of your vision, created in my artistic style. 

In order to have the best outcome for your painting/drawing, it's better to keep an open mind and not force any specific imagery. Keep the ideas open for my interpretation and style.

I only accept commission requests with a deposit. Please note, custom paintings and drawings take longer to produce (1-3 months). 

Available to ship worldwide at your expense. 

This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE, and will be applied towards the overall cost of the commission. If you decide not to go through with the commission after paying, you can apply the payment towards any products on my website.

Minimum size of commissioned canvases start at 16” X 20”.  Commission drawings start at 11" X 14".

Please include details such as:

• The size of your painting (sizes and price guide above)
• Your dominating color choices 
• A reference image or title of my art similar to the style you would like (see my website and Instagram for lots of inspiration) 
• Details you want painted/drawn in your custom piece (this is extremely important for me to have a clear idea of what you want specifically created for you in my style)
• I review the requirements from the COMMISSION QUESTIONNAIRE and get more details if needed.
• We agree on size, price and delivery/shipping method, a short contract is signed and 50% non-refundable deposit of the final price is paid.
• We work together and communicate to arrive at the final design idea before painting starts.
• Once you sign off on the COMMISSION QUESTIONNAIRE, I will begin painting/drawing.
• Along the way I will send photos of the work in progress on three separate progress updates. 
• Once the work is completed, I will send you a final image. You pay the final 50% for the painting and shipping costs.
• The painting is then shipped to you or collected directly from me. Payment in full is due prior to shipping/delivery.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

• I only paint/draw commissions in my artist style (again, see my website and Instagram for inspiration).  
• I don’t paint knocks offs of other artists work.                                                          
• Please note, because it takes so much time to gain an understanding of what you want and create something custom for you, commissions are always more expensive than similar sized paintings that you may see on my website.
